Edward enjoyed turning his mundane tasks into interesting and exciting adventures by making up stories about the various items, animals and people that he encountered throughout the day. Today he was raking leaves in his backyard, and to keep him from gazing longingly into the window at his computer. He pulled out the rake and imagined that he found evidenced that there had been jobs for a PHP developer in ancient Rome. He smiled imagining the discovery of a Gladiator website, with special interactive codes for animation and perhaps a sign in sheet and survey section for the popular vote of thumbs up and thumbs down. There were hundreds of possible applications. He doubted that it was a possibility, but you never knew. The idea gave him the strength and will to finish that section of the yard. Then he was planning to do some research to see if such technology was possible at that time, at the very least he could get a short story out of it. .
